Animations of Procedures Used

Case Study: abutments

Procedure: Screw Retained Abutment

Screw Retained Abutments are used to connect single or multi-units restoration to the implant, such as fixed crowns or bridges...animation of procedure

Case Study: balltypeimplant

Procedure: Ball Type Implants

The OsteoCare™ Mini and Midi Ball Type Implants are primarily a one-stage system that requires implant placement followed by immediate loading, should appropriate conditions prevail. Used for denture retention...animation of procedure

Case Study: classic advanced

Procedure: Advanced Implant

OsteoCare™ Advanced Implants are twin threaded, blasted and acid etched. The twin threads allow for excellent primary stability in poor quality bone and extraction sites - the implant's primary use. The flared head allows the implant to be placed flush with the bone adding to the stability and with three cutting flutes implant insertion is also balanced...animation of procedure

Case Study: healing collar

Procedure: Healing Collar

Healing Collar is designed for contouring the soft tissue following second stage re-entry of osseointegrated implants. The collar is used to block the internal hex and thread of the implant during healing, preventing soft tissue or bone from growing into this area. It ensures a symmetrical moulding of the peri-implant mucosa...animation of procedure

Case Study: implant replica

Procedure: Implant replica

Implant Replica is used to replicate the corresponding internal hexagon of the implant positioned in the mouth, enabling the implant fixture level to be accurately transferred by the technician to the master model. The replica is also available with the ball for use with OsteoCare™ ball type implants...animation of procedure

Case Study: impression

Procedure: Impression Transfer

Impression Transfer is a two-piece component comprising of a retaining screw and impression sleeve and designed for an implant-level impression using the open or closed tray indirect impression technique...animation of procedure

Case Study: maxizimplant1

Procedure: Maxi Z Implant - Staged Loading

Maxi Z implants have been designed to improve the technique of immediate loadingas well as to modify the quality of bone thus enhancing the process of osseointegration. But maybe used for staged loading...animation of procedure

Case Study: maxi z procedure 2

Procedure: Maxi Z Implant - Immediate Loading

Maxi Z implants have been designed to improve the technique of immediate loading as well as to modify the quality of bone thus enhancing the process of osseointegration. Maxi Z implants are placed with a minimally invasive flapless procedure and allow for the provision of same day restorations following the concept of "a tooth in a day"...animation of procedure

Case Study: ridgeexpanderbox

Procedure: Ridge Expanders

Ridge expanders may be used in conjunction with socket formers and osteotomy bars if simultaneous placement of implants is undertaken, they can also be used for separation of the cortical plates for inter-positional grafting.

The four Ridge Expanders are manufactured from hardened stainless steel and sharpened for precise application. They are 'D' or parabolic in cross section, available in four widths. The instrument size can be identified by circumferential grooves on the handle. Intended use is expansion of the maxillary ridge, to create adequate width for implant placement and to recontour the labial plate.

The 'D' shape prevents buccal fracture by extending the expansion over a great distance and should be used with the flat side towards the palate and the convex side to the labial. ..animation of procedure

Case Study: centrefinder

Procedure: Centre Finder - Measuring the gap for single and multiple implant placement

This unique instrument is a simple tool to help the clinician find the central osteotomy preparation site in bounded areas. It also helps to measure the gap of a missing tooth to determine the correct implant diameter...animation of procedure
